The Friends of the Latimer House operate the house as a history museum. The park is open every day and the house opens on posted dates. There is no charge for any of it.

Before you come
What to know.
Four things worth knowing before you make the trip.
Open houses
One Saturday a month, April through December, the house is open and someone will take you through it. Two floors, hand hewn logs at both levels, the fireplace, and the places where the brick came away. Allow about half an hour.
The talk
One Sunday a month, May through October, we give a talk on the house and on the two families who built it and kept it. It runs about an hour, and there is no need to book a place.
Groups and gatherings
Schools, historical societies and civic groups are welcome outside the posted dates, and so are gatherings that suit the house. Get in touch and we will find a date and put someone with you who knows the place.
